It's been a while since the last newsletter I've sent out, and a lot has been happening!
We've gone from having one application (GasHog, the fuel economy tracker) to three, adding PhotoCalc (a suite of calculators, utilities, and reference information for photographers) and Sunrise (an easy-to-use utility for finding the sunrise and sunset times for your current location, or for locations around the world, as well as the phase of the moon).
In addition to all the activity with the new applications, today I'm very excited to launch our new web site. Visually, I think the new site is leaps and bounds beyond the old site, and the new structure opens up a lot of new possibility. Coming soon to the site will be a more informative support section, as well as videos demonstrating how to get the most out of each application.
Additionally, the new web site features a blog that I'll be posting to more frequently than I send out e-mails, so you may want to bookmark it if you're interested in following the development of the applications, as well as news and interesting items for the iPhone and iPod touch in general. If you use an RSS/news feed reader, there's an RSS feed available as well.
The positive feedback I've received from everyone about all three applications has been overwhelming. It's been great getting to correspond with customers around the world, and I've enjoyed enhancing the applications based on your requests and suggestions.
There's still a lot to come, and as always, I thank you for your continued support.
Best regards, Chris

Version 1.5.0 of GasHog has been submitted to Apple for the App Store, and should be available soon. This update delivers a number of improvements I've received requests for, including:
- the ability to export a vehicle's filling log via e-mail for safe-keeping (in a tab-delimited format which should make it easy to import into a spreadsheet as well)
- a numeric keypad for easy entry of the amount of fuel added and the total cost of the fill-up
- additional decimal points for the amount of fuel added, for greater precision
- additional digits allowed for total cost of fill-up, for countries with varying currency
- for customers tracking multiple vehicles, touching the vehicle name from the main screen brings up the vehicle list for quickly switching
There are still a lot of exciting features on the roadmap, but hopefully these new features will make GasHog more accurate, and easier to use.
There are some exciting developments (no pun intended) for PhotoCalc 1.2 that I'll be sharing more about soon. Additionally, soon I'll be announcing a partnership that will especially be of interest to professional photographers that promises to deliver some really exciting capabilities.
Sunrise isn't being left out, either. Version 1.2 of Sunrise will be coming soon, including the display of twilight times, new additions to the location database, and some other exciting features.
Again, thank you very much for your business.
